Welcome to this network of Anabaptist Mennonite Scholars.

This website is a home for Anabaptist Mennonite scholarly associations. Collectively they share this site. They can post information and engage in conversations. Each organization will have its own site, its own room within this house, for its members and programs. Anyone is welcome to visit the shared locations on this site.  Some organizations will have sites limited to their members to handle membership lists, information, registration for events, conversations and blogs.

As this site opens in January 2014 one organization, the Anabaptist Mennonite Scholars Network, an association of scholars of religion, theology, and related disciplines, has a substantial presence. This was its website for many years. Now it is welcoming others to share this home.

More information will be posted to the site shortly.  If you are interested in having your organization share a "room" on this site, contacts will be provided as site administrators are confirmed.  Some associations will already have other primary websites, but they will be welcome to share this site, provide an introduction to themselves, and direct people to their primary website.

Partner Networks

The Anabaptist-Mennonite Scholars Network exists to foster networking among scholars with primary focus on the fields of theology, Bible, church history and religious studies.
The purpose of the ASAA shall be to promote contact and fellowship between two groups of people: a) those social scientists interested in studying Anabaptist groups, and b) those social scientists affiliated with an Anabaptist-related group. These people may include sociologists, anthropologists, and people working in fields using these perspectives (social work, communications, etc.) .
